Thanks for using Annote. These terms are short on purpose.

The service

Annote provides tools for highlighting, annotating, and connecting what you read. We provide the service as-is and work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Your content

Your notes belong to you. We claim no ownership over anything you write or highlight. You grant us only the rights needed to store, sync, and display your content back to you, and to process it for features you invoke (like AI suggestions).

Acceptable use

Do not use Annote to break the law, infringe the rights of others, or abuse the service (for example, attempting to disrupt it or access other people’s data). We may suspend accounts that do.

AI features

AI-generated summaries and suggestions can be wrong. Review them before relying on them.

Termination

You can stop using Annote and request deletion of your data at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date.
